We are a registered non-profit based in Manitoba that advocates for all women who work in the agriculture and food processing industries. Our advocacy supports women across the entire sector, from production to products and services to all businesses and organizations associated with sustaining the industry. If you are a farmer, entrepreneur, educator, student or researcher or if you own or work for an agribusiness or food processing company, MWAF exists to empower you as you grow your career.
MWAF also aligns with companies, non-profits, educational, financial and government institutions seeking highly qualified employees and partnerships with women entrepreneurs. We work to create positive change that advances equality and inclusion for the betterment of our workplaces and industry.

By fostering the advancement of uniquely qualified women in agriculture and food, we bring meaningful innovation and opportunity for real change to our industry.
We also support industry stakeholders’ efforts to develop diversity, equity and inclusion policies. Our industry support services are specifically designed to help stakeholders engage more women as employees, business owners and partners.
